Legacy Bars & Documentation

About These Bars

Over the course of five decades, Wallace & Hinz fabricated a number of complete bar systems that continue to exist well beyond their original installations. Many of these bars have changed ownership, been relocated, refurbished, and reinstalled in new venues. This page documents those legacy bar models and the original records used to build them.

Bar Identification & Records

Each Wallace & Hinz bar is built with a unique medallion number that corresponds to archived shop records maintained by our firm. When a client contacts us regarding an existing bar, the medallion number allows us to identify the original project and access available documentation related to that build.

Depending on the year of fabrication, these records may include hand-drafted drawings, early CAD files, original plan sets, finish specifications, and fabrication notes. Because Wallace & Hinz predates desktop computing and internet-based documentation, record formats vary by era, but the intent has always been the same: to retain a clear connection between the bar and its original construction.

Legacy Bar Guide

The bar models shown here represent base configurations. In practice, these systems were frequently modified in length and customized with options specific to each project. If you own an existing Wallace & Hinz bar, its configuration may differ from the drawings shown while still corresponding to one of these legacy models.
